Difference between UDP2 and UDP3

I have been a programmer myself for a while but I have never worked with network packets. I do not know the difference between UDP2 and UDP3 if someone would explain it, I would be really greatful. Thanks!

Battle server uses udp protocol. 2 and 3 is a type of connection between client and server. Official server has used 3rd type for the 5 last years.
