I just tried the DDF file you provided, it looked like something went wrong:
What should I do to modify armorgrp.ddf ?

I found the L2disasm patched version modified by Hint by chance yesterday so I use this tool again trying to edit armorgrp.dat:



It seemed a little promotion but I still don't know what the error is.
